Nanchen Natur – Handmade Organic Dolls from Germany

Since 1983, Nanchen dolls have been lovingly handmade in Northern Hesse, Germany. Founded by Nana and Peter Sendke, the brand was inspired by Waldorf education and quickly developed its own colourful and distinctive style.

Each doll is hand-stuffed and hand-painted, giving it a unique character. Around 15 artisans work from home and in the workshop, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship.

Nanchen Natur uses mostly certified organic materials and Bioland-certified sheep’s wool from Germany. The dolls stand for sustainability, quality and timeless design.

Since 2012, Juliane Krüger and Janah von Buttlar have continued the brand’s legacy with passion and care, bringing joy to children around the world.
