Based in Zurich, Minimalisma was founded by creative CEO Maja Akraberg, a Faroese-Danish fashion expert and mother of two. With a deep appreciation for Nordic design, natural materials, and quiet simplicity, she launched Minimalisma in 2011.

The brand creates soft, luxurious everyday essentials for children up to 12 years and selected pieces for women. Rooted in Nordic tradition, the collections focus on high-quality, timeless essentials in pure natural materials and subtle Scandinavian tones.

Each piece is crafted from the finest fibers, including cashmere, silk, baby alpaca, merino wool, and GOTS-certified organic cotton. Minimalisma’s philosophy is simple: beautiful, durable, and sustainable clothing that delights both parents and children alike.
