Kamaro’an
Kamaro’an, meaning “a place to live,” is a Taiwanese brand dedicated to preserving and celebrating the heritage of the Pangcah, an indigenous people from Taiwan’s east coast. Since 2013, Kamaro’an has been documenting Pangcah artifacts and everyday practices, translating this rich cultural legacy into contemporary, handwoven creations.
Each piece is meticulously handwoven by Pangcah craftsmen in Kamaro’an’s studio, combining traditional techniques with modern design sensibilities. Inspired by the flowing sea and flickering constellations, the brand weaves moments across time, creating unique, meaningful textiles that honor the past while embracing the present.
