Fakar Basket Tote

A basket tote with four handles, can be used in three ways, tote, handbag or shoulder bag.

A strong closure is woven on the handle to make it durable.

This form is derived from the four-handle rattan farming basket called “fakar“ in the pangcah tribe.

People can help each other to carry the heavy harvest together with multiple handles.

Includes a linen drawstring bag.

In the Archetype collection, Kamaro’an collaborated with a Taiwan hat factory with an 80-year-old history. They use the old hat sewing technique for bag making.
