Our knitted toys are entirely handmade, in a fair trade workshop in Bolivia, which offers good working conditions and a fair income to women who can neither read nor write. This solidarity-based economy contributes to improve the living conditions of families and ensuring the schooling of children.
All our soft toys are made in pure Baby Alpaca wool, a renewable, highly ecological natural fibre. They are stuffed with recycled plastic bottles fibres. The wool comes from a spinning mill located in the Bolivian Andes, which is supplied by small breeders. We use as much as possible the natural colours of alpaca: white, black, shades of grey and brown. All our other colours are made with eco-friendly, non toxic dyes.

You can machine wash you soft toy at 30\u00b0C on delicate cycle. However, we recommend you to wash it by hand as often as possible, in cold water, with a gentle detergent like baby shampoo. Soak for few minutes, gently rub and rinse. Remove excess water carefully, avoiding any wringing or twisting. Reshape, lay fly on a dry towel and allow it to dry naturally.
Store
Before storing, make sure that your soft toy is fully dry. Store it with a dried lavender sachet, to keep moths away. Wir bitten unsere Kunden, die bestellte Ware nach Erhalt zu überprüfen. Wenn Sie mit der Lieferung nicht zufrieden sind, beachten Sie bitte Folgendes:
Wir können nur Ware zurücknehmen:
- die nicht reduziert ist
- die innerhalb von 14 Tagen nach Erhalt und nach vorheriger Ankündigung an info@makingthings.ch zurückgesandt werden
- die in der Originalverpackung zurückgesandt wurden
- die keine Gebrauchsspuren aufweisen
- deren Etiketten weder entfernt noch beschädigt wurden
Alle Verkäufe von reduzierten Artikeln (solche, die einen reduzierten Preis anzeigen) sind endgültig. Es wird kein Umtausch, keine Gutschrift oder Rückerstattung für reduzierte Artikel angeboten und die zuvor genannten Bedingungen gelten nicht.
Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, jede Rückgabe abzulehnen, die nicht den oben genannten Bedingungen entspricht.

Der Kunde ist für die ordnungsgemäße Verpackung der zurückgesandten Ware verantwortlich und hat die Kosten der Rücksendung zu tragen, mit Ausnahme der in Nummer 7 der Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen genannten Fälle. Die Making Things GmbH prüft alle zurückgesandten Waren nach den vorgenannten Kriterien. Sind diese Kriterien erfüllt, erstattet die Making Things GmbH den entsprechenden Betrag mit der gleichen Zahlungsmethode wie bei der Zahlung. Wenn der Versand kostenlos war, werden die Versandkosten nachträglich berechnet und vom Rückerstattungsbetrag abgezogen. Etwaige Verluste aufgrund von Wechselkursschwankungen gehen zu Lasten des Kunden.

The customer is responsible for the returned merchandise being properly packed, and must pay the expenses for return shipment, with the exception of cases such as specified in Section 7 of the General Terms and Conditions. Making Things GmbH inspects all returned merchandise according to the aforementioned criteria. If these criteria are fulfilled, Making Things GmbH shall refund the corresponding amount by the same payment method used for payment. If the shipping was free of charge the shipping costs will be charged afterwards and subtracted from the refund amount. Any losses incurred due to exchange rate fluctuations are at the expense of the customer.
